Yacht marinas: MLP contradicting itself, ministry says
The Ministry of Transport has rejected Labour criticism that it did not speak to anyone about its plans to privatise the yacht marinas, and that the proposal should have been raised in Parliament.
“Contrary to what (Labour MPs) Helena Dalli and Joe Mizzi have said on behalf of the MLP, the MLP itself raised the government’s plans on the privatisation of marinas in Parliament, discussed them in the House, and expressed agreement with the privatisation policy,” the ministry said.
Labour MP Jose’ Herrera spoke at least twice in Parliament in favour of the privatisation of the marinas, the ministry said. He even criticised the government over the fact that the Maritime Authority was currently both a regulator and an operator of marinas.
The MLP was taking the opportunity to say ‘no’ even about something it agreed with, the ministry said.

Why is anyone surprised?? Self-Contradiction is a national pastime for the MLP and merely saying NO to everything is just consistency on their part. It's all a useless, totally visionless and unimaginative opposition is capable of ! After all what's new? We just get Joseph in photos instead of Alfred . . .
