The Malta Union of Teachers and MCAST today signed the collective agreement for academic staff.

The MUT expressed its satisfaction at the successful conclusion of the "long and hard negotiations".

It said this agreement would result in better conditions and salary structures. The Union also welcomes enhanced promotional opportunities and career progression for academic staff.
