Amenities at the beach

Għadira Bay is regularly overcrowded during the summer days. The first part of the bay consists of a relatively long concrete pier, which has a ladder to help swimmers enter or leave the water. However, another ladder is required at the other extremity of this pier, below the bus-stage.

The many senior citizens and children who frequent this part of Għadira Bay definitely need this ladder.

It will be immensely appreciated if the Mellieħa local council or the pertinent government authority carry out maintenance work on the existing ladder and fix another one where I have just recommended.
