Camaro badge on the Chevrolet

The all-new Chevrolet Camaro finally took its bow yesterday in a special ceremony in Detoit. The coupé goes on sale in America in the first quarter of next year, but European showrooms will have to wait until 2010 before they get a chance to sell one.

The company says that it's a car that stays true to its heritage, but is a thoroughly modern machine at the same time. So, while the long bonnet and short rear deck give it a classic look that harks back to the 1967 original, inside there are modern LED displays as well as retro-looking recessed instrument binnacles.
