Over €40,000 raised for the missions in a year

An eight-week campaign by the sales teams of the Helping Hands Foundation (HHF) has just been concluded successfully.

Dun Ġorġ Grima, on behalf of the Mission Fund Ġesu Fil-Proxxmu, received the handsome sum of €21,000. This was raised through sales of the latest issue of the Family Magazine circulated by the HHF.

This was the second campaign through which the two organisations worked together since last year when another €23,000 had been raised for the same cause. Thus, in a period of 12 months, Ġesu Fil-Proxxmu benefited from the global sum of over €40,000.

The Helping Hands Foundation said it is very grateful towards the thousands of clients who bought the latest edition of the Family Magazine.

"In doing so, they have appreciated the missionary work being done by Dun Ġorġ Grima and his movement in Brazil and Africa towards the needy children," it said.

HHF reminded their clients to check for the identification tag when approached by sales representatives.
