Mtarfa and the tower clock

Mtarfa is such a beautiful place but needs some revamp in some places to just look ideal.

Number one on the agenda is surely the tower clock, which needs to be seen working again. It stopped working years ago but needs some maintenance, and it is very important as it gives Mtarfa its character.

Another small job should be the resurfacing of Kavallier Vincenzo Bonello Road, the one going up to Mtarfa overlooking Mosta and Naxxar, from the last roundabout and up. Mtarfa Hospital should also be revamped to previous glory and could be put to more important use. It is like the tower clock, an important building to Mtarfa.

Also an everyday nuisance is the poignant smell from the drainage bowsers delivering their loads from the inspection holes into the main sewage system. This happens along the road going up between the two roundabouts. Loads of tourists stop every day to take pictures of Mdina and its surroundings amid this poignant smell.
