Donation to the Malta Hospice Movement

Valletta Fund Management presented a donation to the Malta Hospice Movement, a voluntary organisation set up to provide and promote palliative care and support for people with cancer or motor neurone and their families. Hospice Movement general manager Antoinette Shah said that over the past 19 years the movement had developed services for the community such as home care, which includes respite nursing and a number of specialised therapies and spiritual support, day therapy, which includes regular nursing assessment, hospital support, lending of specialised equipment and bereavement support.
