Archbishop's engagements - July 21-27
Tomorrow
The Archbishop visits Maltese emigrants at New South Wales and Queensland, Australia, including the Franciscan Sisters. Later, he celebrates Mass for the Maltese community in Mackay.
Tuesday
The Archbishop visits the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart in Mackay and meets residents, staff members and others from the Franciscan home. He also visits Maltese workers at the sugarcane plantations. Later, he celebrates Mass at St Joseph Church in North Mackay where he meets members from the Maltese community.
Wednesday
The Archbishop travels to Brisbane where he celebrates Mass for the local community at the local cathedral. In the evening he returns to Sydney.
Thursday
The Archbishop celebrates a thanksgiving Mass for the elderly in Wentworthville. Later, he visits the Franciscan sisters and their school in Wollongong. In the evening, he visits Canberra.
Friday
The Archbishop meets the Maltese High Commissioner in Australia, Francis Tabone. He later celebrates Mass for the Maltese community at St Benedict Church in Nurra-bundah and visits the War Memorial. In the evening, he returns to Blacktown.
Saturday
The Archbishop meets the Maltese Community Council in New South Wales and celebrates Mass at La Vallette Social Centre, Blacktown.
Sunday
The Archbishop celebrates Mass for Maltese emigrants and their children at St Mary Cathedral in Sydney.
