Windmill repairs
Kola windmill, situated just off Ggantija Temples in Xagħra, is in urgent need of repair following storm damage some months ago. It is the only 18th century surviving structure that still has its original wooden mechanism. This Gozo landmark houses a folklore museum and has on display tools used by the miller when the windmill was still operational half a century ago. The windmill, built in 1725, is managed by Heritage Malta.
