Don Bosco summer club

Over 265 children from all over Gozo, aged between four and 12, are attending the Don Bosco summer club, which opened on July 2.

Activities include sports and fun-games, singing, drama, aerobics, crafts, story-telling, dancing, cooking as well as the teaching of traditional crafts like arkett and ganutell. There are special activities for older children including a first aid course. They will take part in a DVD film to be shot in Gozo.

Children meet three days a week. About 50 leaders and animators, most of them young people, help out in the organisation of the summer club which this year is celebrating the fifth year of its inception.
