This model can be used as a two-way radio for individuals or groups and has an extra loud ringer through two speakers, so that it will be heard even in noisy environments.

In tests conducted on this model, it has been dropped from a height of about four metres, thrown in a concrete mixer, driven over and subjected to powerful jets of water (see http://www.jcbphone. co.uk/).

The JCB ToughPhone is a triband mobile phone boasting Bluetooth, USB and WAP browser connectivity.

The 65K colour screen measures 128 x 160 pixels. It comes with a standard belt clip and the battery is good for up to 200 hours of standby and 240 minutes of talk time.
