HSBC Bank employees on team-building exercise

HSBC Bank Malta's Audit and Compliance Department took its annual team-building activity beyond the usual team development day.

The event was held at Razzett tal-Ħbiberija in Marsascala, a non-profitable organization that offers conference and team-building facilities.

Personal development was tackled by Natalie Kenely, who conducted a seminar on emotional intelligence themed Living With A Cutting Edge.

The aim was to enable participants understand the role emotional skills play in personal life and in allowing one to thrive in the workplace. Participants explored ways of creating healthy and vibrant climates within the workplace and discussed methods of being inspirational in their leadership. The programme included team-building activities and interactive discussions.

The team presented Razzett tal-Ħbiberija CEO Nathan Farrugia with a donation of €500 as a sponsorship for the forthcoming Ability Challenge 2008, organised by the park itself.

Team members spent time helping out in the charity shop. Together with other volunteers, they unpacked and sorted out clothes, books, old and new household goods and toys donated by the public.
