A construction worker was injured by falling stones at a construction site in Naxxar this afternoon, the police said.

The incident happened at about 2.15 p.m. in Triq Raheb Kurradu.

The worker, who is from Mgarr, is being treated in hospital. His injuries are not life threatening.
