The Malta Labour Party is prepared to listen to the media and will accept its constructive criticism, leader Joseph Muscat said yesterday.

Dr Muscat was speaking at the end of a visit to the Union Press, which is owned by the General Workers' Union. It was the first in a series of visits to the various media houses in Malta.

Dr Muscat said the newspapers published by the Union Press should be at the forefront of the progressive force for the country to flourish.

He was accompanied by deputy leader Toni Abela and education and media spokesman Evarist Bartolo.
