Energy from landfill by end of year
Energy generated from the engineered landfill at Maghtab is expected to become available towards the end of the year and will immediately be transferred to the national grid, Resources Minister George Pullicino said in reply to a parliamentary question by Ċensu Galea (PN).
How neighbouring families can benefit from the generation of this energy is still being discussed and will eventually be explained.
