The strike by transport operators and its negative effects on the economy (5)

The recent goings on in our roads beggars belief. Do these people really believe that the government is going to give in to their irrational demands?

While all the "sane" world is talking about enhancing competition and consumer protection, these demonstrators are protesting, at the expense of the many thousands of others, to hang on to their "monopoly".

Apart from the hardship caused to all local commuters and retailers, their unreasonable strike is causing irreparable damage to tourism.

Shame on them and shame on all those who support them.
