Young goalkeepers attend Italy training camp

A group of 15 aspirants from the Mario Muscat Goalkeepers' School are currently doing a training camp at the Scuola Numero Uno in Italy.

The school, recognised as one of the best in goalkeeping training in Italy, is situated in Chianciano, near Siena.

At the one-week training camp, which started last weekend, the Maltese group will rub shoulders with some of Italy's most promising goalkeepers.

Giuseppe De Fidio, a member of Serie A club Lazio's coaching staff, is the head of Scuola Numero Uno.

Accompanying the young Maltese trainees in Italy are Mario Muscat, the Hibs goalkeeper and founder of the school, Simon Grech and Chris Sant.
