Midfielder Hleb completes move to Barcelona

Alexander Hleb last night completed his 15 million euros (£11.8m) move to Barcelona from Arsenal. The 27-year-old Belarus midfielder, who joined Arsenal from Stuttgart in 2005 for £11.2m, had a medical before describing his move as "a dream".

"I love this team," Hleb said.

"I will give my best and I want to win everything with Barca."

Hleb became the Catalan side's fifth signing of the close season as they continue to rebuild the team under new coach Pep Guardiola after two years without silverware.

They have already landed Uruguay defender Martin Caceres, former youth team defender Gerard Pique, Brazil full-back Daniel Alves and Mali midfielder Seydou Keita.
