Seaside ladders

Reference is made to Emily Barbaro Sant's letter regarding a missing ladder at the seaside near Gillieru Harbour Hotel.

By the time the mentioned letter was published, the ladder in question had already been placed.

This was done after a request was made to the department concerned. An on-site visit was carried out with the officer-in-charge of the area together with local council officials. Further requests have been filed with the same department for more ladders and railings to be installed at the beaches and other places around St Paul's Bay, Buġibba and Qawra for the benefit of swimmers.
