Industrial production drops
Seasonally adjusted industrial production in May this year fell by 1.9 per cent in the euro area (EA15) and by 1.4 per cent in the EU27 when compared to the previous month,, estimates issued by show.
In April, production grew by 1 per cent and 0.3 per cent respectively.
In May this year, compared with May 2007, industrial production dropped by 0.6 per cent in the euro area and by 0.5 per cent in the EU27.
