More nominations for MLP posts
The Labour Party yesterday received more nominations to fill the posts of the party's administration and national executive, the MLP said last night.
The nominations close today.
These are the nominations received yesterday.
For the post of vice president: Louis Gatt.
Secretary general: Gino Cauchi, Keith Grech, Alfred Grixti, Jason Micallef and Joe Vella Bonnici.
Financial secretary: Frans Chircop.
International secretary: Lorna Vassallo.
Education secretary: Anthony Degiovanni and Aaron Farrugia.
No nominations were received for the posts of president and public relations secretary.
Ten ordinary members of the national executive: Claudette Abela Baldacchino, John P. Bonnici, Charles Cassar, Gino Cauchi, Frans Chircop, Michael Cohen, Roberto Cristiano, Aaron Farrugia, Anthony Degiovanni, Nettu Farrugia, Keith Grech, Alfred Grixti, Darren Marmarà, Charles Marsh, Paul Pace, Salvu Seychell, Antoinette Vassallo and Lorna Vassallo.

I hope all the persons that have been nominated have their membership paid and up to date. Since some of them are very busy, it is not easy to forget to pay the membership fee as had happened to Jason Micallef and was saved by the Party Leader, although this was still against the Party Statute as no one is above the law.
