Transport workers caused a disturbance outside Austin Gatt's residence in Valletta three times last night.

Dr Gatt wrote to Transport Federation president Victor Spiteri this morning saying that first it was a group of four, then about 20, and then about 60, none of whom were bothered by a police presence and CCTVs.

Dr Gatt said he was used to this sort of thing and his sleep was not disturbed. But he had a family, and he was warning the federation that these people would be held personally responsible for their actions.

"If you think you will win an argument this way, or scare me from doing my duty, you are very mistaken" Dr Gatt said.
