Migrants' boat intercepted off Malta
A group of 28 illegal immigrants is to be brought to Malta this evening after their boat was intercepted 36 miles off Malta this afternoon.
The interception was made by patrol boat P52 which had been on its way to support another patrol boat , P51, which was monitoring a boat carrying some 340 migrants heading for Lampedusa.
A number of the migrants were transferred to P51 which is to take them to the Italian island.

... by the way, WHO pays for the AFM patrol boats' fuel in such circumstances?
... and WHO pays for AFM aircraft fuel when they are dispatched for similar SARs?
Is it the Maltese Gov't (i.e. OUR taxes) or the EU?
