Morena has won the Grand Prix award and Best Interpreation award at the Universong International Music Festival 2008 in the Canary Islands.

Morena participated with her new single Tattoo written by Mark Amaira and composed by Renato Briffa.

Briffa won the Most Original Song award.

The competition also included entries from Spain, Italy, Russia, Moldova, Romania, Turkey, Macedonia, Germany, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Cuba, Argentina, Poland, Lithuania, Venezuela, US, Cyprus and Bulgaria.
