• The Malta Dementia Society is holding a public talk on 'Dementia Care and Services' at 5, Lion Street, Floriana, tomorrow at 6 p.m. The talk will be presented by Marco Bloom, representative for Alzheimer Netherlands.

• The Malta Hospice Movement is organising a barbecue at La Bajja Rooftop restaurant, Le Meridien Hotel and Spa St Julian's, on Thursday at 8 p.m. Tickets are against a donation of €30 and include food, a half-bottle of wine, a half-bottle of water, coffee and free parking. • The LGBT Catholic group Drachma is organising the performance of two plays written and performed by US-based comic and theatrical performance activist Peter Toscano, at Warehouse No. 8, Marsa, entitled The Re-Education of George W. Bush on Friday and Transfigurations-Transgressing Gender in the Bible on Saturday, both at 9 p.m. Tickets cost €11 each or €15 for both performances are available.
