Emergency transport for health workers

The Health Division said it is organizing emergency transport for all health workers because of the public transport strike.

All those needing transport should contact the Nurse Management of the various sections immediately.

Those needing transport are to wait near the police station of their locality. Where there is no police station, they should await transport near the parish church. Workers from Gozo are to meet near the police post in Cirkewwa at 5.30 a.m. or 90 minutes before work time for those who start work in the afternoon.

Transport back will also be provided.

The division however urged the workers to share private transport.
