UK exhibition offers endless opportunities

The Foundation for Human Resources Development is again coordinating the attendance of local HR practitioners to the CIPD annual conference and exhibition in Harrogate, UK between September 16 and 18.

The CIPD conference and exhibition is the event of the year for HR professionals. The largest management conference in Europe, it will feature over 100 speakers from around the world.

With a world class line-up of speakers, including Gary Hamel on 'The quest for resilience'; Heike Bruch on 'How effective leaders manage themselves and their jobs'; Joe Simpson on 'Touching the void' and Warren Bennis on 'Competencies of exemplary leadership', among others. This is the event for all those who want to keep ahead in HR.

There is a choice of seven conference formats: from industry insights and practical workshops to case studies. There is also a choice of seminars relevant to business needs: from six key themes, including strategy, leadership and change.

There will be the latest innovative ideas and thinking from 'Industry heroes' and 'Thought leaders'. Organisations will include Virgin Mobile, NSPCC, The Home Office, KPMG, Coca Cola, Oxfam and BBC.

There will also be a range of networking opportunities, where one can share experiences with peers and make vital contacts. There will be plenty of time in between conference sessions to experience the atmosphere of Europe's leading HR exhibition.
