The Labour Party has launched a public consultation process on three issues of national importance: The rent law reform White Paper, the reform of local government and the revision of the water and electricity tariffs.

The party said the consultation is in line with party leader Joseph Muscat's commitment to make the party the voice of the people.

It said it would be the easiest thing for the party to sit back and criticise and stop at that but the country deserved more than this.

People wishing to make proposals on the three subjects should submit their comments on the party's website www.mlp.org.mt. Alternatively, people can write to the party by addressing the envelopes to Leħen il-Poplu, Ċentru Nazzjonali Laburista, Ħamrun.
