Conference on re-use of old industrial sites
Ray Bondin, Heritage Malta's corporate projects manager, was among the main speakers at a conference of international heritage experts in the Polish city of Lodz which discussed the re-use of abandoned industrial areas.
The seminar was organised by the University of Lodz with the collaboration of the Polish Ministry for Cultural Affairs.
The discussion revolved around what is acceptable and not acceptable in terms of new uses and new additions to heritage.
