San Ġiljan ASC tournament

Once again, San Ġiljan Aquatic Sports Club, in conjunction with the St Julian's Local Council and the Malta Sports Council, are organising the annual international waterpolo tournament for both males and females. The San Ġiljan ASC tournament is the only local waterpolo event which also features the participation of women.

"Through this tournament, San Ġiljan is renewing its commitment to keeping waterpolo alive even among women," a club statement said.

Credit Europe Bank are the sponsors of this year's tournament in which three Dutch teams and one from England along with the men's and women's selections of San Ġiljan Tropicana Juices, are expected to take part. Matches will be played at the San Ġiljan pitch between next Sunday and Wednesday.

Sunday's programme starts at 4 p.m. and the fixtures on the other days get underway at 6.30 p.m.
