Police celebrations continue today

The Police Force will be marking its inception 194 years ago with two activities in Floriana and Valletta today. Pontifical Mass will first be celebrated at the Police General Headquarters in St Calcedonious Square, Floriana at 8.30 a.m.
A parade, featuring a Guard of Honour, will take place at 10 a.m. at St George Square, Valletta.
A defilé with the participation of numerous police sections will follow. There will also be displays by the Police Band, the Precision Drill Team, the Mounted Section, the Dog Section and the Hampshire Police Band from the United Kingdom. » See also centre spread
