Justice Minister congratulates Maltese-born Sir Igor Judge
Justice and Home Affairs Minister Carmelo Mifsud Bonnici congratulated Maltese-born Sir Igor Judge on his appointment as Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales.
Dr Mifsud Bonnici augured that the connection between Sir Igor and Malta would lead to closer collaboration between the Maltese and British courts.
Sir Igor, 67, will take over in October as head of the judiciary from Lord Phillips of Worth Matravers.

Mr Bonnici is it possible that he can help us get back some of the treasures that we're taken from Malta.At the time the British felt that they had a right to do so. Can this be brought back up. Maybe Mintoff can lead a delegation to negotiate the return of such items.
