Persons under 16 caught in entertainment outlets
Last year, the police caught 29 persons aged under 16 in places of entertainment, compared to 47 so far this year. Answering a parliamentary question by Adrian Vassallo (MLP), Justice Minister Carm Mifsud Bonnici said the cases were in St Julians and Marsascala.

inside a place of entertainment, and young persons over the age of
sixteen years shall prior to admission to any such place produce and
show their identity card to the proprietor.
(2) Persons under the age of sixteen shall be allowed inside a
place of entertainment if the proprietor applies for permission to
allow persons under the age of sixteen to be permitted inside his
place of entertainment and is granted such permission ...

Well if we take into consideration that most of the entertainment outlets in St. Julians and M'scala do sell wines, beers and spirits, then yes, it IS against the law
