The Labour Party said today it has launched a public consultation process on the rent law reform white paper, the reform of local government and the revision of the electricity and water tariffs.

The party said the consultation is in line with party leader Joseph Muscat’s commitment to make the party the voice of the people.

The party said that the easiest thing for it would have been to simply criticise, but it wanted to contribute positively for the country to move forward and for living standards to improve.
