There have been 22 cases of people caught committing immoral acts in public places so far this year. This compares with 106 last year.

Answering a parliamentary question by Adrian Vassallo (MLP), Justice and Home Affairs Minister Carm Mifsud Bonnici said the cases occurred in Valletta, Floriana, Fgura, Marsascala, Żurrieq, Qormi, Sliema, St Julians, Mosta, St Paul's Bay, Ħamrun, Sta Venera, Ta' Xbiex, Gżira, Msida, Żejtun, Delimara, Birżebbuġa, Ħal Far, Marsa, Ġnejna and Gozo.

The minister's reply did not specify the localities in Gozo.
