Gonzi hails protagonist of big PN victories
Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi paid tribute to outgoing Nationalist Party general secretary Joe Saliba saying he had succeeded to implement reforms within the party at the same time that the PN won an election and built a new headquarters. Mr Saliba was a protagonist in the big victories achieved by the PN, Dr Gonzi said during a reception held to thank Mr Saliba for his work at the end of his term of office.
Present for the event was the newly-elected general secretary, outgoing Valletta mayor Paul Borg Olivier.
