Fund-raising magazine in aid of Siġġiewi home

The Helping Hands Foundation (HHF) has launched another fund-raising campaign through the sale of its family magazine with Dar talProvidenza being the sole beneficiary.

In this 17th issue of the magazine, one can find articles and games for the whole family as well as articles and information about the work being carried out at the home and how one can offer his or her voluntary services.

The previous two campaigns in aid of the home for persons with disabilities in Siġġiewi raised €44,000 and €30,000. The magazine is sold at price of €3.49.

HHF said that since the campaign is being run during the hot summer months, it has supplied the volunteers selling the magazine with sun protection lotion. Each member of the HHF team must wear a personal identification tag. HHP will also be planting trees in a symbolic gesture of replacing the paper used to print the magazine.
