A bit of heritage falling to bits
This tower is situated in the area between Manikata and Popeye Village.
If action is not taken immediately it will be lost forever, like the one that was lost years ago in the area of Imġiebaħ, limits of Selmun.
Why doesn't the government issue a call for expressions of interest so that the tower can be restored and the area around it made better use of?

Mellieha Local Council in conjunction with Heritage Malta and/or Din l-Art Helwa, should get round this scenic tower and turn it back to its original spendor.
Otherwise and possibly more sensibly it should be integrated in the National Park - as an additional info/rest place.
As to 'Private Property' signs - its about time the Councils & Central Govt, move their assess, a conduct a national thorough survey to verify claims of ownership, as Ramblers have been recommending for some time now.

Scribble on the wall says 'Post Privat' meaning private property. Maybe the owner will see this letter and reply?

If my eyes are not playing tricks, scribbled on the side is the word posterity, that says it all.

And what about the Gnejna Tower - the one which is in close proximity to the ruins of the hotel - which will soon be consigned to history, never to be seen, owing to the cliffside over which it is built, which is crumbling away? That tower must be taken down, stone by stone, and moved further in, and the area embellished. But who listens to the people?
