Tragic deaths

Up to June 30, there were a total of 14 tragic deaths in Malta and Gozo, compared to 86 in the whole of last year.

Answering a parliamentary question by Adrian Vassallo (MLP), Home Affairs Minister Carm Mifsud Bonnici said that in the first half of last year there were two cases of homicide (four last year), six traffic accidents (14), 10 suicides (27), one drug overdose (8) and 14 other cases (33).
