Melbourne Cathedral to have bust of Gorg Preca
A bust of St George Preca is to be placed at St Patrick’s Cathedral in Melbourne, Archbishop Paul Cremona was told today.
The announcement was made as Archbishop Cremona started his visit to Maltese-Australians in Australia.
The Maltese community has launched a fund to raise $A50,000 for the bust.
In his meeting with the Melbourne community Mgr Cremona urged Australians of Maltese descent to visit Malta and learn more abut the country of their roots.
