Maltese woman dies swimming at Armier
A 59-year-old Maltese woman died while swimming at Daħlet il-Qortin, Armier, the police said yesterday.
The woman who was brought ashore by her relatives at about three in the afternoon was administered first aid but was certified dead by a doctor who accompanied paramedics in an ambulance.
Duty Magistrate Consuelo Scerri Herrera has opened an inquiry. The police are investigating.
