St Augustine Square in Victoria on the sister island formed the backdrop to the second edition of the Malta International Fashion Show, which saw stunning models showcasing a kaleidoscope of designer dresses for a public that will stretch way beyond Saturday evening's audience.
Organised by TV Moda and Renaissance Productions Ltd, the show will be televised a number of times on the station that is viewed in 40 countries, shining a spotlight on Gozo.
TV Moda owner and presenter Jo Squillo hosted the spectacle, describing the island's charm and legendary status.
Twenty-eight gorgeous models, joined by eight of their local counterparts, paraded snapshots of collections by Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Etro, Vivienne Westwood, Gianfranco Ferre, John Richmond, Rocco Barocco and Roberto Cavalli among others, while jewellery was also exhibited on the live and lovely mannequins.
Local talent also got its platform to perform to an international audience, with hair shows by L'Oréal, music by Chasing Pandora and Miriam Christine Warner, fashion by Charles and Ron, bridal gowns by Ivory&Co and make-up by Shasha.
