Archbishop leads pilgrimage to Australia

Archbishop Paul Cremona left for Australia yesterday, where he will be leading a group of 40 young Maltese men and women who are attending the Youth Day celebrations in Sydney between July 15 and 20. The Archbishop will also be visiting communities of Maltese emigrants in Melbourne, Sydney, New South Wales and Queensland. Mgr Cremona will start his pastoral tour of Australia in Melbourne with his first commitment being the celebration of Mass at the Chapel of St Paul in Parkville tomorrow. He will return on July 29.

We are looking forward to meet them all and make them feel welcomed amongst us in all the States where they will be visiting. I am sure that the best preparations have been taken care of, to make all our pilgrims feel at home. Australia is a beautiful country and the Maltese community know how to welcome our visitors from Malta with open arms and a warm welcome. MERHBA!
