On April 20, I complained in this paper about the incomplete works at a bus stop in St Mary Street, Tarxien. These works are still unfinished to the great inconvenience of the residents and of the many tourists who visit the nearby Neolithic temples.

This is unbelievable. It is also something the Malta Transport Authority should be ashamed of. I appeal to local MPs to intervene in this matter and to Parliamentary Secretary Mario de Marco, who is responsible for tourism, to urge his colleagues to ensure that these works are completed as soon as possible.

I would also like to point out also to Dr de Marco that a telephone box and a sign showing the way to the temples have been removed and so far not been replaced.
