A group of 12 Form 5 Chemistry students from Carlo Diacono Zejtun Girls' Junior Lyceum recently visited Actavis Malta Ltd, in Bulebel.
During their visit the students were given a brief talk about the Activis Group and its operation in Malta. They toured the production facility, the analytical services chemistry and microbiology laboratory where they familiarised themselves with the lab equipment available.
The local company is a subsidiary of the Actavis Group, a multinational pharmaceutical organisation employing 11,000 people in 32 countries worldwide. The Maltese operation alone has 500 highly skilled employees.
