Meeting for Maltese ambassadors

All Maltese ambassadors will be in Malta later on this month for a meeting with Foreign Minister Tonio Borg to discuss a variety of issues on Malta's foreign policy, The Times has learnt. The meeting will be held to discuss, among other subjects, the Malta-EU Steering and Action Committee, the role of the EU in world governance, Malta as a centre of excellence in the financial services sector and consistency - the key word in Malta's foreign policy.

The Foreign Minister and the ambassadors will also discuss the role of Maltese embassies in today's realities and the Maltese perspective of irregular migration.
