One-way sign of laxity
I refer to the one-way sign at the junction between Triq il-Uqija and Triq Ibraġ in Ta' L-Ibraġ opposite the Greens Supermarket, which should prevent vehicles from exiting into the latter road. However, nobody seems to give a hoot about this sign.
So I say to the local council: Either enforce it by utilising wardens (all they seem to care about is giving tickets to "badly" parked cars), or else just remove it.
Act local council, act!

Action from the Swieqi Local Council?!! That's a contradiction in terms. Forget it! On three occasions (once to the Mayor, once to the Secretary, and another time to a councillor who also owns a shop) I suggested that those signs to 'Clean up after your dog' be supplemented with bins so that we dog lovers don't need to walk for ages until we find a bin in which to deposit our dogs' business. No luck yet. Hopefully, in time for the next election, they'll be installed. God forbid the tenure of each council is increased to four or five years as has been suggested elsewhere... it would mean that it'd take longer for things to get done!
And yes, if a warden just stood at that junction for a few hours, s/he would earn his/her keep and more besides booking offenders of various contraventions... talking on mobile phones while driving, exiting from this particular junction, exhaust fumes...

Hear, hear. Well done Mr. Gambin. It is again a question of 'law enforcement', which is so very lacking out here. Have CCTV installed, as it is just not worth considering other ways of controlling the abuse in this area of Swieqi. Swieqi LC's early attention and action is kindly solicited.
