Scholarship scheme extended

The scholarship scheme for undergraduates who opt to do an undergraduate course abroad or with a recognised private institution in Malta has been extended and is now applicable also for those who already started their course.

The government said the scheme was being extended following the interest it had received since it was originally launched in May. Up to 150 students from every academic year can benefit from the scheme.

The scheme is being extended to include those who are already following courses for their first degree abroad or with a recognised private institution in Malta and are due to continue their course in September.

Conditions can be viewed at www.education.gov.mt/mgss.htm .
