Ira Losco to top Prague concert
Ira Losco and her band will be head lining a festival in Prague next month, with a crowd of 10,000 expected to attend.
“Most festivals and concerts abroad normally have an international big name or a local head line so it’s quite an honour to be asked to close the show. Every experience is part of artist development and getting better. Needless to say there are more challenging ones ahead, “ said Howard Keith, speaking for Losco’s management, Jagged House.
“I thought this was a brilliant opportunity to play the new album Fortune Teller to a foreign audience, but most of all it’s for a good cause I believe so strongly in ” added Ira Losco.
The festival is in aid of the YMCA, an organisation which Ira has supported since she was 15. The festival will be held in the main square in Prague and will be attracting audiences from all over the world who have bought their tickets on line.
Fortune Teller has been on the market for only a few weeks but is proving to be a favourite with the fans , Ira said.

Good luck to her for her spirit. Pity that it seems she is so cautious or afraid to sing anything from her early repertoire in Maltese, if only to show that her native country does have a linguistic identity after all. Imagine a Czech band not singing some tracks in Czech! Jan Palach would definately stir. Come on Ira, your fans deserve this.
