This month's must-see - The ultimate tribute band

When you attend a Spiteri Lucas show you know exactly what you are going to get. You should also know what you are not going to get. You're not going to get deep insightful theatre, challenging texts or Grotowskian angst. What you can expect is an evening of top-notch entertainment... with a capital E.

Last year their brand of breezy musical entertainment graced the Malta Arts Festival and they are doing so again this year. Their 2008 Malta Arts Festival offering is entitled A Tribute To The Stars and contains all the elements that have been tried and tested in previous shows of theirs.

A Tribute to the Stars features a varied repertoire of popular tunes chosen from over a 60-year span of pop history - from the likes of Glenn Miller and Nat King Cole right up to present day stars such as Bon Jovi and Andrea Bocelli.

The numbers will be performed by some of our brightest talents including Glen Vella, Debbie Scerri, Ivan Spiteri Lucas, Priscilla, Ludwig Galea, Nadine Axisa, Jason Scerri, Adrienne, Brooke Borg, Triccas, Julia Grima and Sandro Cassar.
